Ahh, crazy. Reminds me of a puppet version I saw of the Giant Turnip folktale. The whole puppet family, dog and cat included, lined up, trying to pull the puppet turnip out of the ground.
That sounds cool. I was just thinking, have you seen the beginning of "Being John Malkovich"? That has a great puppet sequence with Heloise and Abelard making love to each other through a wall. or trying to.
it was funny, i found on a website that the guy who made those puppets thought the shot was a big "immoral" or something...
